I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Florida State Elks Association Midyear Convention November 12-14 at the beautiful Rosen Centre located at 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. The agenda for all meetings may be found in the quick links on the right. Dress for all activities is business. Gentlemen are urged to wear jackets, tie optional.

• • $20 tickets (purchase when you Register for Convention; only 300 will be sold)
  • Open Bar and Heavy Apps provided
  • State Committee Chairs will be available to tell you how your Lodge can take advantage of FEC Programs and Contests.

Hotel Parking: Know Before You Arrive

The hotel has installed a new parking gate system. Please follow these instructions when you arrive to receive the appropriate parking rate.

At the Parking Gate

1. Use the arrows on the gate’s screen to find and select our event name.
2. Select “Overnight Guest” if you are staying at the hotel or “Daily Guest” if you are visiting for the day.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter.

Daily Guests — $20 Self-Parking

Members attending for the day who are not staying at the hotel receive a discounted self-parking rate of $20 per day—a 50% discount.

Overnight Guests

If you have a hotel reservation, your parking discount will be applied automatically when you check in at the front desk.

Highlight events, other than our board meetings, include:

• • Our special guest, Grand Lodge Marketing & Membership Director Rick Gathan, will be presenting on membership Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.
  • The Major Projects Meeting—required attendance by Lodge Offices for the FSEA Matching Grants—will be Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
  • The Midyear General Business Session—also required attendance for FSEA Matching Grants—will be held on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. It is scheduled to conclude at 10:30 a.m. This should give everyone time to return to their rooms prior to checking-out.
