The St Petersburg Ladies of Elks held a Holiday Arts & Crafts Market at St Pete Elks Lodge and Bake Sale on December 3rd. We also had a basket raffle table and a table selling handmade crafted items donated by our members. Plus over 55 vendors inside and out! We raised over $2600 on the day!

Ladies of the Island Elks (Merritt Island #2650) held their annual Chance Auction last night. The slight twist is each table is drawn every 15 mins. it drives sales for people who really really want an item and it keeps everyone at the lodge longer to “wait it out”. The Ladies raised over $1,300! Great event ladies!

Sophia Sardella is a current Merritt Island High School Senior who was awarded with one of this year’s Elks Legacy Scholarships. She is a proud member of the Merritt Island #2650 Elks family.
Sophia will be attending the University of North Florida majoring in Biology and is the daughter of Laura Sardella the current FLOE Treasurer.

In addition to what will be a great weekend at the 57th Annual FLOE Conferemce, the entertainment will no doubt make this year's event one to remember!
"Friday Night Motown"
ACT 3 is the most exciting entertainment package that you would want to see and hear. The group was established in 1996 and was comprised of three singers (two male and one female). Today, ACT 3 has five members (four male and 1 female) plus a sound engineer.

Once again Elks and Anna Miller Circle members met at the Elks Lodge 1578 to pack welcome kits for The Haven of Lake and Sumter Counties. The donation included 340 adult welcome kits (travel size soap, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and deodorant) and 100 children's welcome kits (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, lip balm, shampoo, a small toy and other items). Also included were eleven birthday kits (cake mix, frosting and candles) for children who celebrate their birthday at the shelter. Other misc. items included food, children's clothes and toys. The total contribution is valued at $4,545.50.
