On Dec. 9, Brooksville Elks Lodge #2582 donated $1,000 from its Harry-Anna Trust Fund matching Beacon Grant funds and their angel tree donations to The Life Center of Hernando County, which provides housing for unhoused mothers with children 5 and under.

The lodge also donated $660 for two large-screen TVs to Elevated Assisted Living and $2,425 to New Beginnings Youth Shelter for their annual Christmas party.
