West Palm Beach Elks Riders #1352 partnered with Back to Basics to assist with their Angel Program. The Elks adopted 40 boys and girls from Hope Centennial Elementary to buy gifts for. Gifts were dropped off Nov. 22 and included a new pair of sneakers, socks, underwear and toys for each child.

Jupiter Lodge sponsored an angel tree with more than 100 children’s names on it. Members could pick a name and do the shopping for them or make a donation and the Elks would do the shopping. The outfits and toys were delivered Dec. 16 to West Jupiter Recreation Center, Limestone Creek Elementary, Jerry Thomas Elementary, Jupiter Elementary, Jupiter Middle School, and Choice To Change, a nonprofit organization that assists young adults and their families.

Members Tim and Jill McDaniel, Jeff Sturmthal, and Shawn Samperi delivered gifts to Ms. Erin for students at Jerry Thomas Elementary.

Jupiter Lodge members Cindy Rush, Amanda Simpson, Lauren Pac and Diane Applemann stuffed Drug Awareness goody bags with candy canes, coloring books, Elk brochures and more, which were given out at the Jupiter Farms Christmas parade and craft fair Dec. 7.

During the week before Thanksgiving, Jupiter Elks donated meals for 125 families from Jupiter Elementary, West Jupiter Recreation Center, Limestone Creek Elementary, Jerry Thomas Elementary and Jupiter Middle School, as well as Choice To Change, a nonprofit organization that assists young adults and their families.
