On March 10, Sebring Lodge hosted its Monday night bingo, with the players continuing to collect and donate nonperishable food items for Hands for Homeless in Avon Park. More than 280 cans were donated to help replenish the food pantry.

On Feb. 18, Sebring Elks Lodge #1529 presented a $250 check to the Flash Stars Achievement Center in Sebring for a silver sponsorship of their 2025 walkathon. The program provides after-school care, educational enrichment and leadership development to elementary and middle school students.

On Feb. 12, Lakeland Elks Lodge #1291 donated $2,000 from its Elks National Foundation Spotlight Grant to the United Way of Central Florida for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This program helps underprivileged children with their reading skills and provides books to them.

On Jan. 11, Lakeland Elks Lodge #1291 held a Cowboy Cookout and raised $944, of which $500 was given to the GiveWell Foundation and $444 was given to the 2nd Lieutenant Charles R. Rubado Scholarship fund. The GiveWell Foundation will sponsor veterans to fly on the Honor Flight Mission 10. The scholarship funds will go to Florida Southern College ROTC.
All food for the meal was donated and prepared at the lodge by Diane Libby (not pictured), Sharon Literski, Ann Murry, Al Literski and Mark Libby.
On Dec. 9, Brandon Elks Lodge #2383 used its Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant to donate $2,500 each to three Title I schools — Seffner, Yates and Lopez elementary schools. The schools will use their donation to purchase books, PE equipment, supplies for special education classes, and jackets and clothes for some students in need.
